Owner
Ian is the owner of Otford Nursery, He is trained to level 5 in childcare.
Ally Doyle
Nursery Manager
Ally joined the Otford Nursery team in 2009. She is trained to level 3 in childcare. Ally is responsible for the day to day running of the nursery and is also our designated safeguarding officer.
Angela Harris
Oasis Manager
Nursery Deputy Manager
Angela is the manager of Oasis after school club, she also deputy manager at nursery. Angela is also a Designated Safeguarding Officer.
Carole-Anne Wakefield
Administator
Carole-Anne joined the Otford nursery team in 2007. She is trained to level 3 in childcare and is responsible for all admissions and the administrative side of the nursery.
Amber Saunders
Nursery Practitioner
SENCO
Amber joined Otford Nursery in 2014. She is trained to level 3 in childcare and is the SENCO.
Donna Axford
Nursery Practitioner
Donna joined the Otford Nursery & Oasis team in 2020 . She is currently trained to level 3 in childcare.

Keylighe joined the Otford Nusery team in 2023. She is currently training to be a level 3 nursery practitioner.
Wendy joined the Otford Nursery team in 2019. She is a level 3 nursery practitioner.
Mary Joined Otford Nursery team in 2023. She is a level 3 practitioner.
Staff Qualifications
All staff at Otford Nursery are either Qualified or studying for a childcare diploma or certificate involving at least 2 years training and all hold Paediatrics first aid certificates.
Staff training and development
Continuous staff development is provided through:

regular whole-team training meetings for needs identified within the nursery

frequent staff meetings
-
a staff training programme created on an annual basis using external/online courses according to staff development needs.
The owner holds individual reviews three times a year with every member of the team. They also carry out observations of staff in action/ peer observations followed by feedback sessions, to be able to support staff in continuing to improve practice.
